My story
In 1991, I completed my studies as a goldsmith in Budapest, Hungary. However, the school system at that time focused more on the mechanical and practical aspects of the profession, leaving the creative side unexplored. As someone passionate about drawing since a young age, I pursued a career in the cartoon industry for nearly 20 years, gaining valuable experience in drawing, designing, and animating.
During this period, I also explored various creative pursuits, such as crafting dollhouses, restoring old wooden furniture, and designing and creating tattoos. However, the most significant transformation in my life occurred when I moved to the UK, my new home.
In the UK, I rekindled my passion for jewelry making and rediscovered the enchanting magic of this craft. Drawing inspiration from my diverse experiences, including my previous works, I found myself drawn to the limitless possibilities of jewelry making, and I felt liberated to explore this territory freely.
Recently, I have expanded my expertise by delving into enameling, particularly cloisonné enamel. The mesmerizing beauty and vibrant colors of vitreous enamel have left a profound impression on me.
Having lived by the sea for five years, its influence is evident in many of my designs. My journey in jewelry making has been a captivating one, and I am grateful for the opportunity to express my creativity and passion through this craft.
Warm regards, Vicky
